GAIA is a veterinary ecosystem founded by two Vietnamese veterinarians with a foundation rooted in academic knowledge and a strong aspiration to build a modern, humane, and medically standardized veterinary system. From its humble beginnings as a small clinic in 2012, GAIA has grown into a comprehensive network that includes:

Development Timeline
2010 – Born from Knowledge and AspirationTwo veterinary doctors — Prof. Su Thanh Long and Prof. Bui Khanh Linh — completed their doctoral programs at Yamaguchi University (Japan) and returned to Vietnam, laying the academic and visionary foundation of GAIA.
2012 – Establishment of GAIAThe first GAIA pet clinic was founded with support from Dr. Minami (Japan), pioneering the first Vietnamese-founded, medical-standard veterinary clinic model.
2013 – Establishment of the BIOD InstituteGAIA co-founded the Biodiversity and Tropical Disease Research Institute (BIOD) to promote international collaboration and academic exchange.
2021 – Launch of GAIA Riverside Animal HospitalOpened in Vinhomes Riverside (Long Bien, Hanoi), this hospital introduced a specialized, comprehensive model for advanced pet care.
2022 – GAIA Oceanpark: Dedicated Dog/Cat ZonesThe Oceanpark clinic opened with a uniquely designed space, providing separate areas for dogs and cats to enhance treatment experience.
2023 – Founding of GAIA AcademyGAIA officially launched its academy to train veterinarians, nurses, and clinic managers, in partnership with domestic and international organizations.
2024 – Launch of GAIA Pet Care Chain at EcoparkInspired by Japan’s smart clinic model, GAIA Pet Care clinics serve pet-loving residents in eco-urban communities.
2025 – GAIA Pet Care Arrives in Thanh HoaMarking GAIA’s first presence in the North Central region, this expansion brings GAIA closer to its goal of nationwide coverage.
